Balsamic Vinigar
According to http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/ehs/news/lead-in-vinegar some balsamic vinegar and red wine vinegar contain lead, a very toxic heavy metal. The way that these products get led in them is the way they are produced or there may be lead in the soil. Typically, aged balsamic vinegars which are usually more expensive contain more lead than a less expensive, quicker made balsamic vinegars. If a young child eats a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar, it could raise the child's lead containment levels by 30% or more. Lead can harm your neurological system. Low levels of lead can cause learning disorders, behavior problems and even lower their IQ. Thanks to proposition 65, California must have a warning lable near these products to warn consumers about the dangers of these products.
